Officially pooped.

I've been trying to get a few things done around the house today. Seems like I haven't had a full day to devote to little projects in quite some time. Here is the short list of what I did today:
  • Tried out a recipe that turned out crap
  • Cleaned top of the credenza
  • Cleaned the kitchen
  • Recycled paper and boxes
  • Two loads of laundry
  • Partially cleaned office
 All this cleaning has given me a headache, so I'm relaxing with a cocktail. :)

You know what I've accomplished today? Squat. On one hand I feel terrible about it but on the other hand I don't. Laundry is definitely a must though, once I work up the energy to do it, that is. :P

Ahh, but today is not my day off, which is why I get so much done! I took a sick day, cause I was sick of my house being messy. :)

The only laundry I did was one load of whites, one of darks. Don and I will now have undies, socks and t-shirts for the next couple of weeks.

I cannot ever do this much stuff on a "day off"...mental health days are always about me time, and catching up on the house. Good for you! Once this heat breaks I may actually vacuum again!

Yeah, this weekend I had family things to do on Saturday, and on Sunday I could think of doing only two things: reading in bed and reading at the pool. Good thing my friend has a pool at her condo so I could do both! Now way I could get any housework in.

I'd never turn down reading by the pool to get housework done, just sayin.
